Hello doctor and I will try to be brief and to the point
I had a risk 42 days ago and another one 45 days ago (give or take a day on each date)
I want to get tested using the 4th generation combo test and here are my. Questions
1. Is a combo good for 6 and 7 weeks or even a year post exposure or it's only good after 28 days?
2. If you were in my shoe, would you just test at 42 and 45 days post expore and move on with your life or would you wait 3 months? Or you would just take a combo at 28 days
P.s. The toothpic exposure is not the exposure I'm talking about that exposures story I shared with. Y wife but this one she doesn't know about. My symptom is night sweats for 2 days and sinus infection.

1.) A HIV Duo or Combo (4th generation) is fully conclusive at any time after 28 days or 4 weeks of a possibel exposure, i.e. 4 weeks, 2 months, 6 months, a year, 10 years, etc.
2.) You only need one test. If the test is performed at least 28 days after the last possible exposure, this test is conclusive for all exposures. Therefore you can have a test straight away and that would be conclusive, without having to have the test repeated again.
Taking antibiotics does not have any effect in the reliability of these tests.
