艾滋病N亚型
看了吴炎关于N亚型的文章一直很担心，这几天有时间亲自上网搜了一下文献，得到结论如下：1、第一例N亚型的发现与吴炎说的基本一致，95年发现，98年报导，为一喀麦隆妇女，病毒株为YBF30，文献为Identification of a new human immunodeficiency virus type 1 distinct from group M and group O，但因只能看到摘要，初筛是否阳性未知，有兴趣的朋友可以查找全文,但本人认为是否阳性不重要，因为当时的试剂可能为二代。
2、之后用YBF30做成试剂在700份阳性血样中筛查，又发现一例。
3、97-99年（2000年报导）在6500份（也有文献说是20000份）阳性血样中，发现了五例，病毒株为YBF105，YBF106,、115 、 116，YBF117，都来自于喀麦隆中部（All known cases of HIV-1 group N infections were detected in individuals originating from central Cameroon）（Briefly, more than 20 000 sera collected between 1997 and 1999 were tested at the Centre Pasteur laboratory in Yaoundé using a highly sensitive HIV-1/HIV-2 screening test based on recombinant proteins and synthetic peptides on indirect format，由indirect format可猜测此之前应都为间接法，即二代试剂）。
4、99-02年（2004年报导）在7000份阳性血样中又发现一例N亚型（血样编号02CM-DJO0131）发现于雅温得的一所医院。 5、（06年报导）一对夫妻（1131-03, 1015-04）被发现感染了N亚型，（文献Identification of HIV Type 1 Group N Infections in a Husband and Wife in Cameroon: Viral Genome Sequences Provide Evidence for Horizontal Transmission），这之前只有8例（HIV-1 group N was recently discovered and infections with this virus are rare with only eight documented cases），此为第九、十例，过程是The group N infection in the husband, 1131-03, was identified first based on seroreactivity in peptide EIAs and confirmed by PCR amplification of group N viral sequences. Subsequently the wife, 1015-04, was evaluated and confirmed to also be infected with a group N virus，先是丈夫peptide EIAs（不知道是不是通常的初筛试剂）阳性，然后是妻子，妻子未具体提及，因为只看到摘要，未知全文中对细节怎么说的。但该文中有一句话很重要，The low level of diversity between the two viral sequences provides evidence of horizontal transmission of group N from one spouse to the other.注意horizontal transmission，说明第一次证明N亚型的横向传播，不仅仅是证明通过性传播，而是横向传播，说明以前发现的病例都是从猿到人的纵向传播。
6、2006年报导第十一例02CM-DJO0135与4中提及的为同一批血样，但后来才发现，文献：HIV-1 Group N: Evidence of Ongoing Transmission in Cameroon，文中估计与4中提及的那一粒为横向传染，为夫妻之后的又一例横向传染证据，其实它应该在夫妻病例之前。
7、至此，共查到11例，第一例和夫妻那一粒吴炎有介绍，但吴炎所说的用了至少7、8种试剂在普通人群中筛查的那件事没查到。可见，对N亚型的研究是以HIV阳性为基础的。
